GREEN LIVING

Just as ‘Green’ on a traffic signal means it’s time to GO, similarly ‘Living Green’ means it’s time to GROW in harmony with nature. It’s all about the pursuit of knowledge and making ecologically responsible decisions to protect the environment.
But do we assume that as an individual we can do nothing to save our natural resources from depletion? Well, the reality is that our individual minimal contributions have a great impact on the environment.
Adopting a sustainable lifestyle not only benefits the environment but also rewards us for our efforts. One can go for replacing incandescent lights with CFLs that use up to 75% less energy and save money. We must shop for some inexpensive reusable water bottles, and stop buying those plastic bottles. These plastic bottles are difficult to recycle and take about 500 years on an average to decompose.
We can enjoy the rains and collect this rain water to water plants. Make sure that there are no leaky faucets and use a bucket instead of taking a shower, thus saving water.  Going for organic food is also a good idea which not only saves environment from toxic fertilizers but also gives better nutrients for healthy living.
Turning the lights off when you leave the room is the simplest way to Go Green. Unplug unused chargers and appliances as well. Do not take a print out unless necessary, print both sides thus Saving Paper, Saving Trees!!
It’s really simple and is all about becoming a little conscious about your practices and changing the way we consume. It not just helps your planet but also you and your family. Tatsat offers you a wide range of environment friendly products to choose from and ‘Go Green’ this season.

Tatsat gives you recycled products in a completely new form such as colorful vases made out of broken bangles, bags & clutches made out of recycled tyres, fashion jewellery made out of recycled cloth, recycled wooden products.. Sounds great, rite? You can also try a complete range of organic skincare products, smoke-free incense sticks along with a variety of handmade paper,  elephant poop paper, cotton rag paper etc.
We strive to make our Earth greener… We are becoming a conscious consumer... Are you?

  1. I truly enjoyed reading this article! I, too, have always believed that doing a kindness for others is more than an obligation--spiritual or otherwise.
